Undercharging by habit
“₹10 a gram” ignores machine hours, electricity at your state's tariff, your own labour and the margin you actually need to survive.
3DCalci turns grams and print hours into a real, itemised cost — filament, electricity, labour, GST, margin — then turns that number into a quotation, an invoice, and a catalog your customers can order from.
A price pulled out of thin air feels fine until you count the failed prints, the power bill and the spool you forgot to reorder.
“₹10 a gram” ignores machine hours, electricity at your state's tariff, your own labour and the margin you actually need to survive.
Half-used spools in three colours, two printers down, and a customer waiting. Stock lives in your head until the day it doesn't.
A screenshot, a rough number, a promise. No record, no GST invoice, nothing to show when the customer disputes the total.
Six things that used to be a spreadsheet, a notebook and a lot of hoping.
Grams, print hours and filament price in. An itemised breakdown out — filament, electricity, labour, GST and your margin, each on its own line.
Pick your machines from a catalog of 62 FDM printers, or override the wattage yourself. Electricity is costed at your own state's tariff.
Every spool — material, colour, brand, what it cost you and what's left on it. Know what you can print before you promise a deadline.
Turn any calculation into a proper quotation, and any accepted quote into a GST invoice carrying your business name, logo and GSTIN.
Publish your products to a shareable link. Customers browse, pick quantities and place an order — priced by your rules, on your server.
Saved calculations store the full inputs and the breakdown, so a job you quoted in March still reads correctly after you change printers in July.
3DCalci doesn't replace your slicer — it picks up the moment your slicer gives you a number.
Cura, PrusaSlicer, Bambu Studio — whatever you already use. All you need from it is the filament weight and the estimated print time.
Grams, hours, and the price you paid per kilo. Pick the printer; its wattage and your state's electricity tariff are already filled in.
Read the itemised cost, set your margin, and send a quotation. When it's accepted, the invoice is one tap away.
Publish your products under your own slug and share one link — in a bio, a WhatsApp status, a printed card. Customers browse what you make, choose quantities and place an order. Prices are computed on your server, not trusted from the browser.
The calculator is free forever. You only pay when your catalog outgrows the free tier.
No. 3DCalci starts where your slicer stops — it only needs the filament weight in grams and the estimated print time. Any slicer, any FDM printer. If your machine isn't in the 62-printer catalog, add it and set the wattage yourself.
Energy used is the printer's wattage × print hours ÷ 1000, in kWh. That's multiplied by a rate resolved in order: the rate you type for this job, then your saved rate override, then the seeded average tariff for your state and connection type. FY 2025-26 averages for 72 state/connection combinations ship with the app.
Yes. Set your business name, address, logo and GSTIN once, and invoices carry them. GST is applied to the production subtotal, and your margin is applied on top of the GST-inclusive cost — the same order the app and the server both use, so the number you quote is the number you bill.
Nothing. Every saved calculation stores its own inputs and its full breakdown at the moment you saved it. Editing a printer or your electricity rate later never rewrites history — a job you priced in March still reads exactly as quoted.
Yes. Your published catalog is a plain public page at catalog.3dcalci.com/your-slug. Customers browse and place an order with no login at all. Line prices are recomputed on the server when the order arrives, so a tampered browser can't set its own price.
